About Us

Crystalz&Gemz - The person behind the shop/scenes: sometimes life steers you into another direction & with a bit of luck with hindsight you discover that it was a good decision.

In 2006 my chronically ill child became more ill, so I had to find a way to work from home, so I would be able to watch over him at all times.
With a small seed captial (I sold some old Nintendo games) I started a small eBay shop. After over a decade of eBay (47.000+ received positive feedback scores from satisfied customers) - in April 2017 it was more than time for the next step: this 'real' webshop!

This webshop has been keeping me happily busy ever since. His health is still a bit of an issue, but it seems (we keep our fingers crossed) that since March 2020 things are looking better. Unfortunately my back (hernia) decided in Sept. 2020 it needed some attention as well, so it is a bit hard at times, to find the time to photograph new shop items, send out the newsletter and keep the social media up to date. Luckily I do manage to get your orders out in time and answer your emails.

So if you don't mind waiting a bit for the next one (or do appreciate not being spammed too often) you could subscribe to the newsletter (which for now is in Dutch only)  to stay updated on new arrivals & shop promotions, or you could like & follow CrystalzGemz on Facebook or follow CrystalzGemz on Instagram (where you can also see photos of my other hobbies)
